For my artwork I took ideas from the painting “Forest Fire” as I used the same colour palette. I chose to take ideas from the painting because I really like the style of the painting. I liked the Forest Fire painting, how it was abstract, and the colour combination is very nice and how they blend. I also chose this painting to base my artwork on because I really like nature and how the painting really reflects that.
I chose the number 12 because when I started doing this painting, I was 12 so I decided to choose this number. Next, I chose to do the colour sprinkling to add more colour and make my artwork look more abstract. I have the Olympic rings in my painting as I really want to go to the Olympics for swimming one day. I did 4 daisies because my favourite flower is a daisy, and I put the number 4 because that’s my best friend's lucky number. I did the blue line at the bottom of my piece to create the effect of water as I really like water. I have the piece pointing out of my artwork because it made my painting really pop. I chose the name “the art of competition” because it really makes the Olympic rings stand out and it shows that I like to play sports..
