When developing this piece, I first started off with a red base because my artwork was based of Forrest Fire . My main idea was a raging storm coming to a forest with the look to destroy it. I decided to add a raging storm to add the effect that a raging forest fire was coming soon. I painted some trees to show some part of the forest was still left. When making the sky, I experimented with lots of different colours. Once I decided on a colour, I was deciding between normal paint and texture paste. I decided to add texture paste to make my art look more interesting.
Going further into the development of my piece, I decided to give the area around the raging forest fire an orange effect to make it look even more deadly. After finishing off with that I decided to add a bit of texture paste to make it look better and to add more sophistication to my piece. Shortly after this I started to work more on the surface of my forest. I experimented with different kinds of green to see which fit best for the surface of my remaining forest, finally, I decided to colour it with a mix of normal green and dark green. And on top of this I decided to add texture to the surface and make it look even more better. In my opinion I thought the remaining forest with texture looked better than all the other areas in my piece which texture had been applied.
Closing into the finishing touches of the development of my piece, I decided to finally add my number, which was 19. I had chosen number 19 because that was the day the massive and deadly Forest Fires started happening in Australia. I chose this event because I was there in Australia at the time and thought it was quite a sad event and decided to base my piece of this. I decided to use a carboard base and painted over it with colours varying from white, blue, and red.
