My painting was inspired by 'dancing mutants’.

By Hernando R. Ocampo. Hernando's painting took inspiration from a movie he watched about mutants made by the aftereffects of a nuclear bomb. So, Hernando in dancing mutants in the painting at your first look all you might see is green plants but as you continue looking you will notice that there are three figures dancing around in the painting. I used a shade in the background where bright green gets darker and more blue the further down you go. Within my painting I put a 'mutant' at the top of my piece I made the design of it an optical illusion as you can see 3 different faces.

There is a yin yang at the bottom of the eight which mixes with the face's two sides, and I think that the yin yang can also represent humanity, the bad side (nuclear bombs, war etc...) and the good side (art, music etc...). The eight symbolises infinity and the infinite nature of life and death and it also has two threes’ making up the eight, symbolising the three mutants in Hernando's original piece and the three faces in the mutant in my artwork. I put the plants from the original on mine to keep a similarity, but it was also to represent the flowing of time.
